Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Verge9 is operated by NOMADIC PIXELS SRL, the data controller. For privacy enquiries, email [email protected]. Our registered address and full company details are available on our Contact & Company Information page.
2. Information we collect
When you place an order, we receive your name, email address, billing and delivery addresses, phone number, products ordered, payment status and transaction references.
When you contact us, we receive the information you provide, including messages, order details and photographs submitted to resolve a product problem.
Our store platform and payment services also process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser and device details, cookies and transaction security information.
Payments are processed through Stripe. We do not receive your full card number or card security code.
3. How and why we use information
Orders and delivery: we use information to process purchases, arrange production and shipping, send order updates and handle returns. The legal basis is performance of our contract with you.
Purchase enquiries: we use information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Accounting and compliance: we retain and use required records to meet legal obligations.
Customer support and security: we use relevant information for our legitimate interests in providing support, protecting our store, preventing misuse and establishing or defending legal claims.
Optional marketing: if we introduce a mailing list, we will obtain consent where required. A purchase does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Information required for payment and delivery is necessary to fulfil your order. Without it, we may be unable to process your purchase.
4. Who receives information
We share information as necessary with:
• Big Cartel, for store hosting, checkout, order management and contact forms;
• Stripe, for payment processing and transaction security. Selected payment methods may involve additional providers identified at checkout;
• Printify and our printing partner PrintPigeons, for production and fulfilment;
• Delivery carriers, which receive the recipient details needed to deliver your order;
• Google Workspace, for customer email communications;
• Our accountant, professional advisers and competent authorities, when necessary for accounting, legal obligations or claims.
Some providers process information on our behalf; others also process it for their own legal, security or service purposes, as explained in their privacy notices.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. International processing
Our providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers must rely on an appropriate mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or European Commission standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.
6. Cookies and store statistics
Big Cartel uses cookies for functions such as the shopping cart, checkout, contact forms and store statistics. Technical information may also be used for security.
We have not configured Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel or Pinterest Tag integrations in this store.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies needed for shopping may prevent parts of the store from working.
If we introduce optional analytics or advertising tools, we will update this notice and provide any consent controls required by law.
7. How long we keep information
We retain order and accounting records for the applicable statutory retention periods.
We keep customer correspondence for as long as necessary to resolve enquiries, support orders and handle related claims.
Security information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to prevent or investigate misuse.
If we introduce marketing emails, we will retain the relevant information until you unsubscribe or it is no longer needed, with limited records where necessary to respect your preferences.
Records may be kept longer where a legal obligation or an ongoing dispute requires it. You can contact us for details about the retention period applicable to your information.
8. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or portability of your personal information. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
To exercise your rights, email [email protected]. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month; if a permitted extension is needed, we will explain why.
You may lodge a complaint with Romania’s data protection authority, ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro), or another competent supervisory authority.
9. Updates
We may update this policy when our practices change. The date above identifies the current version.
